Woohoo... got a piece off the to finish pile! Time Warp is done. This piece just did not call out for a facing to finish the sides, but thanks to a piece I saw by Jane Davila, who had pinked 2 of her sides, I decided to pink all 4 sides. It works for this. Thanks Jane.
This piece is a great departure from my usual work but it was fun. It has about 8 layers of fabric paint and is quilted.

Love it ! The composition is interesting; many layers. It is so painterly, it could be a work on canvas for sure.
the design you chose for the quilting is PERFECT.
It's always fun to finish a piece - especially when you're pleased with the results.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Isn't Cinque Terre amazing? We had the best time hiking there.
Gorgeous, thanks for sharing. I'm a huge fan of quilt art and this one rocks.
Hi Sherryl... I got here from your post on the dyerslist... or MX dyers.. not sure which. I was looking at your quilt and thought how much I liked the way you chose to quilt it. I do a lot of dyeing and handpainting and am just now struggling through a quilt and am realizing how the shadows created by the stitching becomes its own element. Seems obvious, but not if you haven't done it. I also thought... I wonder if you had worked with Rayna... and then reading back through the blog found that answer. At any rate love the stitching. You can see what I do at dkoppisch.com or notes from 207.

Opps... looks like it was SAQA as you can see I subscribe to several lists.

What a nice piece Sherryl. I like all the movement and especially the strong lines of the quilting. That grandbaby is sure a cutie, but then I probably don't need to tell you that.
