I am calling this one Drunk Driving

.... I think. The top is now completely pieced together. I have to do some trimming and I think I will add black around all the edges... or not...then it will be ready for quilting... the part I hate. I think I am going to quilt this in sections so maybe it won't be so stressful. I don't think I am going to do another one like this. Since none of it was really planned, I don't think I have the value variations required to not make it boring. I will see what happens when I quilt it. Sometimes these pieces grow on me. If nothing else, it has gotten me out of my slump.

I like this very much. I have always loved bright quilts but until recently I thought I couldn't live with them. I can sometimes have problems with needing things to match (I have an accounting degree!). However, during the last year I have turned over a new leaf and now I am only drawn to bright, exciting, modern looking design. This is great and I hope you will eventually like it too.

How about a name like "winding roads" "country roads" or "down the beaten path" rather than drunk driving. Sorry, former cop here. Having cleaned up the aftermath of drunk driving, ("aftermath" is a polite term), I would suggest another name unless your quilt is supposed to make a point about the negative impact of drunk driving. Beautiful quilt.
