Snow envy

I need to preface this post by saying that I do not really miss the snow. That said, I AM envious of being able to play with the snow and do some snow dyeing. It sure looks like fun. I might try some in my freezer. Reading all about the fun everyone was having motivated me into doing some of my own dyeing. I did some crossover colors and have more waiting in the wings. I have a black/grey gradation about to go in the washer. I will post photos as I get more done but this is a busy weekend for me so probably not much more till Tuesday. In the meantime, here are some photos of what I have done. I love these. I just have to decide which I will keep and which I will sell.

Your colors are luscious! Since I was bemoaning not being able to snow dye either, Rhoda told me to google snow dyeing with ice chips instead. sounds fun!

Luscious is just the word I wanted to say--or scrumptious! You will have a ton of fun getting these into many quilts. Well done, Sherryl!

I would have to keep them all.

Hi Sherryl - Your dyed fabrics turned out beautifully. I tried snow dyeing for the first time recently and was happy with the results - but yours are lovely!

Very pretty colors. I may try my hand at snow dyeing tomorrow, We only got a few inches here in CT, but it's so cold that it stayed around.
